Asus CRW-4012A in the test: 40/12/48 burners at a fair price
In terms of access times, the CRW-4212A, like its competitor's predecessor, can with Both data and audio cannot hold a candle and are placed somewhat further back in the field. Strangely, there is a clear and inexplicable difference to the predecessor in the random seek test for a data and in the 1/3 seek test of an audio CD. Yamaha is still clearly at the top in both categories with its 3200E model, closely followed by the external Predator burner from Iomega.
With the exception of the spin-up time, the spin times were unusually high and possibly falsified at over four seconds , no surprises. Yamaha is still clearly at the top with the 3200E model.
There are also no perceptible ones in the recognition timeThere are differences to the predecessor. In terms of recognition time, Yamaha and, surprisingly, the old burner from Hewlett Packard are clearly ahead again.
