The packaging of the Yamaha CRW3200E-VK burner is compared to the d Asus CRW-3212A burner kept it rather simple. In addition to the actual burner, Yamaha also supplies an IDE and a sound cable and four screws to attach the burner. Here, too, two blanks are laid out for the buyer. In this case, a CD-R high-speed blank with 700MB and a CD-RW blank with 650MB storage capacity are rather ordinary or commercially available supplements. So from this point of view nothing world-shaking. In contrast to the Asus CRW-3212A burner, the user not only receives Nero Burning Rom, but a whole Nero software package, consisting of the slightly older version 5.5, NeroMix Play & Burn, Nero Toolkit and InCD. In addition to the manual, which with a length of 160 pages has justifiably been given this status, a software manual in newspaper format for Nero Burning Rom 5.5 has also been enclosed.

Yamaha manual

The manual is written in English, German, French and Spanish and provides the user with extensive and helpful support, including a lot of images 40 pages away when installing the burner. Here, too, the buyer receives more detailed information about the purchased Yamaha CRW3200E-VK burner. With an FAQ the user can also identify possible problems and fix them quickly and easily with the offered solution. Compared to the Asus manual, the reader is also informed in great detail by Yamaha about the various (currently six) supported writing methods, such as disc-at-once and session-at-once, as well as various technologies, so that Yamaha can use is clearly ahead in terms of the manual.
