As already announced yesterday, Intel lowered the prices for the mobile processors this Monday morning. The price reduction includes both the Mobile Pentium III and the somewhat cheaper processor family of the Mobile Celeron and, at up to 30 percent, was quite significant.
This means that the reduction was within the expected range . The following prices have been valid since January 20th, 2002 for the purchase of 1000 pieces.
The next price reduction is planned for January 27, 2002. On this day, Intel will also reduce the prices for the desktop processors Pentium 4, Pentium III and Celeron. An average price reduction of 15 percent is expected .
