Apple iPod with new features and now for Windows

Admittedly, the press release is a few days old. But in view of the fact that some of the news seems to have gotten lost in the network, one or the other reader should still be interested today.

Apple's in-house MP3 player, the iPod, is now not only available in 5GB and 10GB versions; A whopping 20 GBytes are waiting for the inclined listener in the new top model. In addition, the entire series has been revised again. The 10 and 20GB models were given an even more precise scroll wheel, the 10GB player could be reduced in height by a further 10%. In addition, both versions are supplied with a carrying case and remote control. However, the sense of such a bundle is certainly controversial. With the 5GB variant, the accessories can be ordered separately for € 95. The most important innovation, however, is likely to be the integration of the iPod into the Musicmatch Jukebox for Windows systems. Previously, the iPod Mac was reserved for users with 'iTunes' software. There was an alternative developed Windows software, but it did not get beyond a beta status. The players are now available for 399 € (5GB), 499 € (10GB) and 649 € (20GB) versions in stores or free shipping from Apple.de .
