AOL Time Warner with record-breaking quarterly loss

The AOL Time Warner Company made a loss of around 54.2 billion dollars (almost 61 billion euros) in the first quarter of the current fiscal year. The downward trend is thus continuing. The market value fell within the last two years from 290 to 86 million US $.

The reason given by the world's largest media group, which has around 32 million users with its provider division AOL, gave new regulations for goodwill amortization and declining advertising revenue on channels like CNN.
