AMD lowers Mobile Duron prices
Today AMD once again turned the price screw for its processors. This time it hit the mobile Duron processor. The price has been reduced by up to 24 percent in some cases. This type of processor is almost impossible to get in retail and should also cause problems on most Socket A motherboards.
The Mobile Duron (Model 7, Morgan, 64KB L2 cache) is installed by Sony, among others and Compaq in their notebooks.
The above prices apply to OEM customers with a purchase of 1000 pieces.
