AMD chipset delayed

The rumor mill has been simmering for a long time and now it's official. The AMD-760 chipset will only be available on the market in February 2001.

The AMD-760 chipset currently still has electronic noise, the reason for this being the very high FSB clock rate of 266 MHz. According to AMD, the problems can be resolved by filters or buffer modules. But AMD refused to revise the chipset itself. That is the motherboard manufacturer's problem to adapt their design accordingly.
