39% of Germans can do without the Internet
As a survey by the opinion research institute polis showed, 39% of Germans would immediately turn their backs on the Internet if they had to. 23% of respondents would be willing to forego television and only 11% of the radio, which comes off best in this statistic.
That the previous main user group of the Internet, the 14-19- year looks different with regard to these statistics is almost a matter of course. Here only 19% would say goodbye to the Internet. In this age group, 34% of those surveyed could, who is surprised, most likely do without books.
