300 million surfers in industrialized countries

A study by Nielson/NetRankings has shown that approximately 300 million people in North America, Asia Pacific and 20 European countries have access to the Internet. With 150 million people, the list is clearly led by the Americans.

This is followed by the Europeans with 80 million, of which half are in Great Britain, Germany and Italy, and the four Asian countries (Japan, Australia, New Zealand , Singapore) with 37 million surfers.
